On Thursday, April 29, 2021. at 14.00 at the Faculty of Law in Niš, Jean Monnet online workshop entitled "Legal challenges in regulating digital currencies" was held. On that occasion, the workshop participants discussed about the biggest dilemmas and open issues related to the use of electronic money and the concept of central banking in the EU, the position of the European Central Bank, advantages and disadvantages of digital currencies, implementation of monetary sovereignty in the terms of digital revolution and analyzed monetary aspects of Serbian Law on Digital Assets.
