At the Faculty of Law of the University of Niš, on 30-31 May 2023, it was held Jean Monnet international scientific conference entitled "The Impact of European Integration on the Development of Monetary Law", which brought together credible experts from renowned foreign and domestic law faculties, economic faculties and monetary institutions, as well as respected experts from the domain of legal practice and public administration.
Eminent experts from various scientific fields and practices presented their prestigious papers closely related to the matter of contemporary European monetary law and legislation, which best indicates the multidisciplinary character of the science of contemporary monetary law and the high degree of synthetic-dialectical connection with other scientific disciplines. In this sense, Professor Dr. Chiara Zilioli, Director General of the Legal Services of the European Central Bank, Professor at the J.W. Goethe University - Frankfurt and Chair of the Committee on International Monetary Law of the International Law Association and Prof. Dr. Christos Gortsos, Full Professor, at National Kapodistrian University of Athens Law School and Visiting Scholar at the University of Zurich as the most prominent and leading experts in the field of European and International monetary law held introductory presentations as keynote speakers.
Then distinguished participants from the Faculty of Law of the University of Zagreb (the Republic of Croatia), the Faculty of Economics and Tourism of the University "Juraj Dobrila" in Pula (the Republic of Croatia), Faculty of Law "Iustinianus Primus" University “St. Cyril and Methodius” in Skopje (the Republic of North Macedonia), Faculty of Law of the University "Goce Delčev" in Štip (Republic of North Macedonia), Faculty of Economics and Business Administration University "St. Kliment Ohridski" in Sofia (Republic of Bulgaria), Croatian National Bank, Faculty of Economics University of Niš (the Republic of Serbia), Faculty of Law University of Belgrade (the Republic of Serbia), Faculty of Law University of Kragujevac (the Republic of Serbia), and Faculty of Law University of Niš (The Republic of Serbia), as well as distinguished practicing lawyers from the sphere of public administration, public enforcement agents, regulatory agencies and law offices, also, provide precious efforts in created the conditions for a consistent academic-practical framework of analysis and critical and well-argued discussion of recent tenedencies in the development of monetary law as an independent and positive branch of the legal order.
